Transcription:
(ABS) I have in my possession two letters written by F.J. Stringfellow to my grandfather in 1887. In one of them he refers to the flight of a steam engine, in the other he has a few rude rearks to say about Brearey. I am offering to send the Society these two letters on loan providing they will be returned safely.
