  • A short, c. 1948, film about the Marquardt helicopter. 

    The Marquardt company specialised in the deisign and manufacture of ram-jet engines and developed this helicopter to demonstrate a pulse jet powered rotor. The footage shows the helicopter in low-speed flight near the ground in what appears to be some very early tests.
