Caption:
- Royal Flying Corps Armstrong Whitworth FK.3 general purpose biplane, that was used for reconnaissance, bombing and training. Related to the Royal Aircraft Factory BE.2, which Armstrong whitworth were building under licence, the FK.3 was designed by Dutch aircraft designer Frederick Koolhoven, who had joined Armstrong Whitworth in 1914. Around 500 were built from 1915 to 1917 and this example seems to be fresh off the production line.
